This app provides content from our award-winning science education website, visionlearning.com. Our peer-reviewed modules, grouped into scientific disciplines, explore a range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics from a process perspective. We go beyond facts and dates to examine how we've come to understand scientific concepts, the people who have contributed to our understanding, and the ongoing research that builds our knowledge. By incorporating both the history of science and process of discovery in all of our learning modules, we promote understanding of what it is to be a scientist -- not the memorization of facts.
Features include text- and image-based readings enhanced with literacy features, quizzes to test your comprehension, a focused science glossary, and audio recordings of much of the material.
